So I've been playing Sims 2 for a number of months now...putting in lots of precious time creating a neighbourhood full of Sims based on people I know and generally doing lots with their lives and spending lots of hours on beautiful days being inside playing this game...

Then my PC crashed yesterday, fine. Reboot PC, Load game again, Neighbourhood gone. Checked hdd, game data for that neighbourhood definitely gone. FFS!&%(&!^#*%$

Anyway, tried a few things and the data is nowhere to be found and cannot be restored. Lucky me. I get to start aaaaaallllllll over again :( Maybe it's a sign to stop playing this gay game - but the urge....is.....too.....strong. Must. Play.

That is all. Just had to rant.

i dont like sims. the effort spent in making a virtual family and maintaining a virtual household can be MUCH better spent on making and maintaining reality. i realized this when i played once and got pissed off at the game for making me take out the trash.

Well ... I gotta say that the SIMS games, at least when I did play them, were very addictive. I think I destroyed about 5 different mega tropolises in SIM city 3000.. The cheat codes were cool for destruction....

It's a whole new world when you have individual sims to care for, as opposed to an entire city. Sim City is cool for stress relief. You have a shitty day at work, stuck in traffic, woman naggin ya... BLOW SHIT UP!!!!

With "The Sims" type gams, you can do much cooler shit, like play a sim chick and make her get freaky with the blonde down the street and then her sister. Then you can call the gardner up and get down with her... then the maid. Hell, I've even nabbed the pizza delivery chick. (for serious! You can really do that). Plus, you can make them smart as fuck and get a good paying job then build your own house. I built a house with a driveway, but damnit, you don't get a car.

My girl got stuck on this game for weeks. We got one of those nifty game cubes so I could play the Zelda Windwaker game and she decided to buy Sims Bustin Out. She spent every spare second on that crap.
Windwaker was too easy... it just took forever. Cool game though.

There better not be any four hour boat rides from one corner of the map to the other corners in the next zelda or I may just give up on the series.

Zelda/Link games ranked:

1. N64 - Ocarina of time
2. NES - Zelda- A link to the past
3. SNES- Zelda
4. NES - Adventures of Link
5. N64 - Majoras Mask

You actually sailed all over that bitch??
You have to learn the cool song that makes the cyclones warp you to certain points on the map. Then it's a short trip from the warp point.

You're a little screwed up on your consoles bud.

A Link to the Past was for SNES. Zelda was for NES.

Perhaps I should post Canada's laws on downloading materials without the intention of sharing or distributing with others?

I love my country.
