Well I have only played a little bit, gave up as my machine stutters, gets a drop in frame rates when it seems to be loading sounds/textures from disk. Only a fraction of a scond but annoying as fuck.

This is a well docuemnted issue and as yet Valve don't have a fix that works for me.

God damn having to betta test software I paid $100 NZ for!

I've not seen what you are talking about at all. the only thing that really bugs me is just after map load when it stuters for about half a second. Again, kind of annoying.

Yeah, the sounds skips and stutters. I really don't think valve cares...they already sold millions of copies. (..of a shit game.)

On a brighter note. Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth is an excellent strategy game for anyone interested.

The latest patch seems to have helped me a bit, dunno maybe I have just lowered my expectations but am getting into the game now.
