I have a problem with Firefox. If I go to a webpage that is supposed to play a sound, but I don't hear any sound....Example: The link Phaedrus posted : http://www.froopie.com/birthday.html
I checked the firefox options and it is set to open audio files, mp3, wav, etc.
IE seems to play it properly.
Any ideas?

Not sure on this. I tested this, and actually embedded the wav file with both Mozilla and IE compattible methods. It seems to play fine under firefox (for windows) on my PC as well as IE. I also had a friend test it external to me, and he had success with IE playing the embedded wav file. *shrug* I can try to take another look at the html, but I don't think I'm going to be able to to much more than what I already have to get it to play correctliy.

I don't think it's a problem with your page.....my firefox doesn't play any sounds from ytmnd.com either.

I fixed the problem. The solution was pretty fucking strange, and I don't understand why it worked one fucking bit.
Solution:
XP Control Panel -->Quicktime settings-->Browser Plug-->MIME Types-->Audio-->Check .Wav
I have no fucking clue why quicktime would stop firefox from play .wav files.
:confused:

uhh... That shit makes no sense what-so-ever. I do have QT installed, but don't remember if I have it set to play wav files.... that is weird.
